New one from germany withaout acually owning a Kawasaki

My Name is André and I live close to the dutch border,at the lower Rhine region in Germany.
Actually so close to the dutch border that we go there to get all the good stuff the pull out of a deep fryer.

I have a background in mechanical engineering, which I rarely use since I am working in sales.

As I wrote in the headline I do not own a Kawasaki, but I hope that a Egli with an GPZ 1100 UT / ZX 1100 A Engine counts too.
I bought the Egli in pieces, so there will be a nice and long build thread about this project.
Please do not expect a fast process, since I have also a house to renovate, beside my actual Job which also eats up a lot of private time due to excessive traveling.

Beside that I have two Moto Guzzis, a LeMans IV ( Classic bike with a little performance upgrade)

and a California 1100 EV as a cruiser for longer trips.

I think that´s basically it

Regards André

Welcome to KZR, a comfy little air-cooled corner of interwebs motorcycle madness that we sometimes refer to as The aZylum.

Been a long time since we've seen an Egli/Kaw; a rare & desirable piece.  Please document the build with pics.

Hello again and thanks a lot for the warm welcome!

To be honest the egli is more a less a pile of partly quite interesting pieces and a dragster that never run to add up some more interesting pieces

I will start a build thread soon to display the current situation a bit better.

Concerning the Germans " visiting " the Netherlands, that's mor a anular " re-invasation" but now with camping trailers.
Before any concerns come up, the dutchs are making those jokes on the germans..
You have to see the beatches shortly before sundown...
Aask your son for a concerning joke, he may translate it far better than I can.
